I just bought a Mig 50 w/ no master and it should be to me next week. I've got a GK 115-i neo as my cab. I play Fuzzbass and vi, nothing too dubby or clean. Does anyone have a go-to cab that they would suggest?

The GK might sound fine, but I'm thinking a 212 or 410 would get me some more volume. Plus, the GK doesn't really go with the Sovtek look.

I don't want a 412, 610, or 810 (Basically nothing too big)

4x10 with really efficient speakers is your only hope. I've used a Mig50 on bass and it doesn't really have enough power to keep up without really squashing out.

Yea, I have a mig50 and it kind of has a saggy type feel to it, even though it is SS rectified. I would think that it'd fall aprt a bit on bass, which IMO might be a super cool tone. I'd shoot for a cab with the highest efficiency speakers possible, probs best suited for a 4x10.

I tried mine on bass through my 8x10. Definitely lacked in volume/headroom, just felt kinda mushy and too distorted.

That's kinda my deal is that I'm not using it as a "bass amp" in the traditional sense. I guess I'll just have to be patient and see. I was thinking this tho in like 410 style...

MIG50's sound great with bass, they're just not the loudest thing ever.

Well then what are you trying to do? There's no cab that will remedy the fact that will remedy an amp that's just too low powered/not designed with bass frequencies in mind.
