Blackened Soul makes some of the loveliest drones that I've ever listened to, but she doesn't like juice so I can't vouch for her unreservedly... even though I want to because nothing that heavy and emotionally resonant should come from a DI input.

Dream Theater made a couple of ok albums, but I wouldn't really consider them prog. Prog in style, not substance, something like that.

Gong were in many ways the perfect band.

Acid Mothers Temple might be the only band today truly infused in the spirit of classic prog. Well, the prog I consider classic anyway. Canterbury for life.

I don't like Dream Theatre either but after that I am confused. Are Prog Schmog, False Metal, and Fuel the Pyres of the North bands as well? If so, they suck too.
