What modulation would you get for dronez?

I can't play guitar super loud at my new apartment because old people are old and even though their hearing is supposed to be bad, they can still hear my 7w head on 2 and channel their existential angst into hating on my riffs. So instead I've just been playing chill synth and guitar drones with my freeze and ditto. But I want some fun modulation for after the freeze! I have a copliot gyroscope but it's a bit too...something...for my taste. Lo-fi? Harsh? I'm not sure. Though I do fucking love that random step filter mode. So, if you were me, what would you get?

Adjectives:
Lush
Swirly
Rhythmic
Spacey
Blissed :!!!:

I've had my eye on a reissue Bad Stone for a while. I've used an MXR Flanger and didn't love it. I've like phasers that I've had (Small Stone, PH-2). But that's about all I've used. Cheaper is better (<$150...closer to $75 is ideal though). And small footprint (top mount jacks!!!!!!) is the bestest as I'm trying to keep my board rather minimal. Catalinbread Parediola (sp?) sounds pretty sweet. How's the Viscous Vibe?

I was going to suggest the old chrome morley phaser as it is nice sounding, can be LFO or foot controlled, and fits your price...but it is pretty big and side jacks. A Ring Mod could be fun and the Heavy Saturns go cheap. Ummm...why not a cheap digital delay with some mod built in (or a hold feature)? Maybe a feedback loop? You could get the Boss DSD-2/3 to act pretty weird.

Those little zoom multistomps could also be a blast (ms-50, 60, 70, etc)

Maybe flanger, or chorus, or phaser, or vibrato. I think I want a Hoax. Are these any good?

I would get a memory toy and a feedback loop.

Modulated delay for sure, I like phasers and a slow filter or wah behind drones a lot too

The Arion SPH-1 Phaser is a great sounding swirly, spacey, blissful box of modulove and they are dirt cheap, though you will be hard pressed to find one with all the knobs or the battery cover still intact.

So many different responses! Aghhhh. I think I'm just really stuck between a vibe (probably the viscous) and a phaser (probably the bad stone). .

bad stone rules
zoom multistomp is also very very cool. dont like the phaser on it (that's why i have a bad stone) but most stuff on it is rad, cen get really weird with stacking effect too. not very cool but i highly reccomend it

boss bf-2's can be found for cheap all day and are nice too
