The minutemen are great! I'd love to do more this style of music but I can't whale away on guitar nearly that well haha

big time serious confession: I've been super actively involved in DIY and punk for nearly 20 years and it's a pretty huge part of my life. I have never, once, in that time, 'got' The Minutemen.

Well, they're definitely not your typical punk band.

I didn't get into them until I heard Karate cover them. Then I saw We Jam Econo and really needed to get into them.

yep, which should totally appeal. And everything about them sounds amazing, we jam econo is great, their chapter in our band could be your life is awesome, and I love their lyrics. Just never want to listen to them. Weird huh.

no idea. Never thought about it. What do you mean by dynamics? The word that immediately comes to mind is Fugazi but hey.

Fugazi are definitely dynamic. Most hardcore bands are not. They're like all flat out blast.

Yeah, Minutemen never had an album called WE'RE THE MINUTEMEN… AND YOU SUCK! I think that's another band who's name starts with an "M".
