Man, what is up with weed speakers? You know, the ones with hemp cones? As someone who doesn't imbibe in herbal medicine, I find the novelty of alternative use of organic substance interesting. So what's up with hemp cone speakers?
I.E.

cannabis rex - sounds like a scary weed dinosaur?

tone tubby? sounds like a happy fellow

Jensen Jets Falcon - the ad copy only says that it has a 'magical green cone' that is made from 'all natural materials'. so I'm just assuming it is also a weed speaker

Think it's mostly catering to the "WEED, MAN!" demographic, of which I am not part.

Hemp cones are great for warming up bright amps, they aid in rolling off some of the highs. I'm partial to the Weber Amsterdam's myself as I own a pair of those, they are alot like Lead 80's. Only other thing I have to offer is that they take a little longer to break in than your typical speaker.

I wonder what the airport customs sniffer dogs think when a batch of them come into certain countries. Might be a good way to smuggle smokable weed.

And that's what market they're sold for and to.
"WEED, MAN! I CANS STASH THINGS IN IT BECAUSE, WEEDS!"
Never understood the whole culture of debasement to a chemical, whether it's PBR or grows like weeds.

Will do
For some reason I can't help but think about John Delorean. I don't think I'll be giving it a try.

Reminds of a Hunter S. Thompson consumption diary I saw online a few years ago where he had a joint to take the edge off his coke consumption.

I do this with coffee sometimes (instead of coke)

Lmao, I'm such a stoner even when I don't intend to be. I prefer rolling up my highs though. Jack Kush is my folgers this fine morning.

hemp is very durable, and can be sustainably produced. cones made of hemp have the benefit of being a little more rugged than regular paper. tends to be a little "softer" thus rolling off the high end a bit. which can be good.
also like, weed, maaaaaaannnnnnnn
