what fanboy rigs do you want to see at estate sales?

Not just for the sake of some particularly annoying groups of fanboys dying off. I was checking out some gear videos on YouTube earlier and was once again struck by some of the obsessives working hard to duplicate the rigs of their idols. I don't need the whole replica rig of any star, but I wouldn't mind some steep price reduction if, say, the Hiwatt of a deceased Gilmour fan went for really cheap at a yard sale, and maybe a few of the pedals.

So, any carcasses you're looking forward to picking over?

Someone out there is following UG's purchases and matching them.

I don't want that person to die, but.

Buckethead fanboy.

Those my-size guitars, son.

Edit: With my luck, they only stocked up on regular white Les Paul Studios

With my health, you should be plotting a way into the ever-growing vault.

Blackface and or silverface fenders. Any of them. All of them. You always hear about guys finding them at garage or estate sales...I wanna be that guy. Tweeds even. They've gotten so ridiculously expensive that finding one for sale from a guitarist's widow is probably the only way I'll get a blackface or older, baring building a clone.

So I guess that was a roundabout way of saying Fender fanboys.

There seem to be a fair amount of Garcia fanboys out there. Would love to see a Bean turn up at an estate sale.

I would have figured "Echoes of Dead Edge Fans" was more poetic, but sure.

In a few years, I want to see all the ridiculous 8 and 9 string guitars from when we reached peak djent. Line6 amps optional.

I like the Bassman, be it head, combo, silverface, blackface, tweed, tweed reissue. They are all awesome on guitar, they all suck on bass, and with the Bassman name, most noobs think it is a bass amp. Sometimes this works to the buyer's advantage!
