snagged a white one recently in my never-ending search for a perfect dirt sound.

i've had very good luck with the two bands i play guitar in (a bar metal band and a punk/ hardcore/ metal/ stoner hybrid band). it's definitely way more tweakable than the EMMA pisdiYAUwot i was using before. but i might try to stack 'em. right now i'm running a Dunlop Q-Zone -> BAT Coven -> Elements -> SHO Clone -> MVP and a bunch of verbs and delays that get swapped out often. versatility is ridiculous. especially with an Ampeg V4 that i use. i feel like i'm tweaking the amp, tweaking the pedal and then re-tweaking the amp, finally fine tuning the pedal and garnishing with beer.

will post settings and clips later. maybe in an actual band setting if i can get my Zoom h4N to sound passable in small studio with way too much gear in it.

:!!!:

I too replaced a pisdiyauwot with The Elements, three or four years ago. Three I think.

Never looked back.

Btw I love the pisdiyauwot as a low gain od. Seriously. Good fun pedal. But The Elements just is ownage in a box.

Congrats!! That color is my favorite :joy:

I love mine, and also stack it. The key, for me (stacking especially) is turning the mix knob down. (gasp!)

My chain goes
FN5 -> DOD analog delay -> Vemuram clone -> volume pedal -> RV-3 -> Elements -> tube amp with a great clean tone.
I like to set my elements with the gain around 12 or 1 o'clock on the high gain setting, the mix knob only about half way (11 or 12 o'clock), and I most prefer the eq section in the passive range...I don't know if that's right, but I mean knobs below noon. I set bass, mid, treble at something like 11, 10, 9 o'clock for a smoother, sustaining tone that I will stack with the FN5 (tweed pedal, but kind of a light fuzz), or the Vemuram (which is a light od / BF fender tone) which gives a tighter sound, or all three together. I set the volume on each to be just slightly more than the last in the chain.
