At first I thought it was awesome because of the extended keys, but besides the new sounds that are different than my pp midi, it has effects built into it too that are totally awesome. It adds to the pp midi I have pretty damn nice cause you can run the effects on the pp through midi too, first hour with it and I'm severely impressed with it. It's not just an expanded pp, it's modes and effects are awesome. It's totally a different improved instrument! If you have a pp, the septavox isn't redundant, and you would totally benefit by grabbing one and hooking your pp up to it midi!

Black/yellow/natural wood is a good color scheme and the cats seem to like it.

It looks gorgeous next to my silver pp midi, I feel like a kid on Christmas, I was just expecting a suped up pp, this thing is a new instrument, so much fun to be had so far! I've cherished my pp the past 2 years, I have a feeling I'm gonna love this thing more

It's prob best I have 24 hours with it anyways, all the new sounds, every min I'm like damn that's hot!!! What's this new sound?! Helllll yea! Haha! Esp midi'd up to the pp, there's like hundreds of new combinations, so 24 hours might be better so I can make a more comprehensive demo when I understand it better

Hey dude, the micro korg is pretty tight too! Ain't
Nothing wrong with that. I used to have one. Critter and guitari are just a totally different sound, more video gamish and glitchy. Micro korg is more straight up keyboard sounds

Dude, it's a little more pricey than the pp, but if you have the pp midi it's totally worth it, all new modes and effects, plus when it's midi'd to the pp it's like a billion new combinations of awesomeness. The three hours I played today I was totally floored. Worth every penny. I hate that I'm at work now haha

So I got a coupla questions regarding the septavox; can you use it's built-in keyboard as a controller for others units (Shruthi-1 for ex.) via midi? And how comfortable is it to play chords on those mini wooden keys (or is it a monosynth?)?

It's poly, and I think it feels comfortable to play chords. The wooden keys feel nice. Via midi you can use also it as a controller
