Teisco Del Rey Guitar (ET-320) with pics!

I have an old Teisco which I think is from the late 60's, in amazing condition. Probably going to have to sell it but wanted to see if anyone knew of any sites that had any info on these guitars? My searches haven't yielded much other than Teisco twangers, reverb & guitar blue book.

How about selling? I've never sold a guitar before & was thinking of using craigslist so that a person can at least try it. Has anyone ever used reverb? if so, do you offer a return policy?

What kind of Teisco is it? I've had a few of them! Reverb is a good way to sell it, you might considering putting it in Buy/Sell/Trade here as well. If it is one of the sharkfin models, I might even be interested.

Saw this thread and was about to page you. But you beat me to the punch.
And I'd love to see pics. Not that I'd be able to afford one but I want an old 60s Nippon Tiesco or similar.

thanks all! I'm on my way home from work, but will def. post pics tonight. I don't know the model number on it (one of the reasons I've been looking online) but I can tell you all that when I got it at Chelsea guitars close to 20 years ago it was considered "shop worn" which the owner described as sitting on a hook all those years. it is in amazing condition with the exception of a scrape on the pick guard but otherwise I had it setup years ago and have played it a handful of times in all the years I've had it. it sits in a gig bag in my closet.

So I got home, took pics and to my embarrassment the model number (ET-320) was still on the back of the neck.... Like I said I haven't used this beauty much, but here are the pics and I've made note of the flaws that I found:

That's a beauty! Neck is good? It looks a little wonky in that picture of the neck plate.

Yeah, that guitar looks nice.

(If you use those pics in your ad, it'd be important to note that your "crotch is not included" in the sale price.)

So you're saying it is burned into the finish? Deal!

Nice guitar man! I think you might have to adjust that neck a bit (like others have said...and I can see that the low E is pretty far from the edge of the neck). I had to do that on my silvertone when I got it. When you ship it, make sure to isolate that neck in the box so it doesn't move inside with like cardboard spacers or something. The inset where the neck goes is always a bit wide on them (at least mine was...over 1/16" of gap on either side of the neck). Easy fix.

The neck is fine. I just had to stare at it for a few before I realized that the body itself actually angles up on the right hand side where the screw plate resides making not only the neck, but the plate look askew. It's an odd shape, even using guides in photoshop I can see where it looks off, but the neck is straight. I just can find the right angle to shoot it from to show it.

For the right price, I'd sell my crotch. It's gotten me into more trouble than I care to own up to.

Good deal man. It just kind of looked like mine did when it arrived.
