Comfy Monitoring Headphones

Currently have Audio Technica ATH-50s and I don't like them. Not very comfortable and they make it difficult to sit for prolonged periods of time to work on stuff. They also make my ears hot.
Any suggestions on some good and comfy cans? Looking to spend $150 or less, new or used.

The Sony pro audio headphones are comfy as hell, but they do sound a wee bit thin.
The Higher end Sennheiser's are super comfy, but their ones at that price point are terribly uncomfortable.
I've never tried them, but Grado has a following.
Beyerdynamic are fantastic sounding and super comfy but pricey.

I had someone ask me this a while back and i linked them to this review from 2014:

some pretty decent prices there as well. I have the HD600 so very very comfortable that ive worn them completely down (over 5 years) and need to get them re fixed up or buy a new pair

The sony mdr-v6 studio monitors are really comfortable and have a flat eq if you're looking to use them for monitoring/mixing. I've sat for hours listening to or working on music and totally forgot they were on. Plus they're only around $110. Could probably get some a lot cheaper used too depending on how you feel about other people's ear sweat.

I have enormous ears so this information is relevant for my interests!
Before seeing this thread, I was looking at AKG K240 mk ii. Any thoughts?

The Sony 7506 should be easy to try on and see if it's comfortable. It's an industry standard.
I use the Beyerdynamic DT150 which is more expensive (it wasn't when I bought it).. since theyr'e made in Germany and the euro is weak right now, look at thomann.de.

My ears are average or larger and that is part of the reason I don't like the Audio Technica MTH-50s

I should have mentioned my ears in my OP post. Those SR80Es seem a little small in the earpiece diameter.

I got big ears as well and no problems.
They are open and do not seal the ear.
