Alesis HR-16 users/question

Is the machine automatically supposed to save settings you alter? - like pitch of the drums? If not, how do you save the settings? I tested the internal battery and it's good so that shouldn't be an issue.

Ahh, so you can have different kit sounds/voicing for each pattern?
