Can anyone recommend me a humbucker???

Looking for a humbucker (bridge position) ideal for heavy alternative rock. Hi-gain, I guess? Although I actually keep the gain somewhat low most of the time, the ability to maintain some clarity when the gain gets turned up. I'm looking for a sound similar to Weezer/Pumpkins/etc, I suppose. I'm sure this is a question that has been asked a thousand times, but I figured I'd ask before spending the money. Thank you in avance.

TV Jones Powertron (or the Powertron + if you want a little more grind)... super clear, can come in a humbucker mount or use the filtertron-humbucker english mount thing.

I like DiMarzio Tone Zone. Not super hi-gain, but rocky yet still dynamic and stuff

In what kinda guitar, on what kind of budget, using what for your dirt?

Probably putting it in an SG. I play a few different guitars, but I'm trying to find something for the SG for now. My main dirt comes from a Fuzzrocious Demon King, and sometimes an ARC Big Green muff.
As far as budget goes, I'm not trying to ball out super hard, but I'm willing to pay a little more if it's the right pickup.

In an SG I'd go Tone Zone.
If it were a Paul or similar Slab O Wood, I'd be worried about mud. But SGs kinda need it a little. I'd say add a coil tap, too.
It should be easy to find 2nd hand Dimarzios for moderately cheap.

Dimarzio Super Distortion: classic for a hot pickup.

I love Super Distortions, but I wonder if they'd be too dark for this application. Especially in an SG. It'd be cool to try a set of Lollar or Novak WRHBs in an SG for this kind of music. I love how articulate those are. I think you need both the full low end and a sparkling top end to get those huge 90's tones.

Isn't some of that also in the value of pots used?

Yeah for sure. Bigger the pot value, brighter the tone, in general (also depends on the capacitor value for the tone pots.)

I like the red lace suggestion also. I have several lace singles in my strat and they rock at sensitivity and clean. Higher output than regular singles for sure.
That said, the super distortion or perhaps a related pickup usually sounds pretty darn good in the bridge. That's what's going into my next build on a basswood jaguar.
+1 to the idea you can play with the caps. This makes a MASSIVE difference in the high-end.

I've found that the value of the tone cap only becomes relevant as the Tone control(s) is rolled down from 10. At max resistance, the caps are almost entirely out of the circuit and is only having an effect on audio below about 15hz (which I can't hear...based on some hearing tests I've done).
It's more relevant on 250K pots, but even then it's *very* minimal. At least based on physics/math.

Thanks for the help, everyone! I think I'll probably try the Super Distortion first (mainly because they're so cheap, and I can't find anything really bad about them, so far), and if those don't work out, I'll try something else.
I'm not exactly and audiofile, and I'm basically deaf, so I'm not terribly picky about pickups. To be honest, the buckers that come stock in those SGs aren't bad at all, in my opinion. I just figured I got it for free, so I might as well spend a little on making it as nice as I can.
It's just a standard faded special, but I wanna chop it up and turn it into something similar to this:
