EHX Cathedral Help

Forgive me if this is in the wrong section, but I need some help with my Cathedral.

There's this latency issue every time I kick it on, it seems like the audio cuts out for a second. Like, if you had a chord ringing out and you press the footswitch to turn the effect on, the audio goes silent for a split second and then comes back with the reverb. It's really annoying when you're trying to add the reverb mid-song. Is this a thing any of you have experienced and have any of you found how to fix it? Or is it just a Cathedral thing?

Haven't experienced this with my Cathedral but that good old EHX quality doesn't surprise me. Try using a different power source to see if that relieves the issue. If not, I'd consider contacting EHX about a repair.

Doesn't happen with my gf's Cathedral
Are you using like 100% wet presets? Is the pre-delay set pretty high?

Your clean signal drops out too? It's easy to adjust Cathedral for non-intuitive results, but that shouldn't happen, unless...ramonovski has a point....

I only have one 100% wet preset, and one with any predelay, but they all do it

I haven't experienced this with mine. I've never had problems with EHX pedal besides the newer ones looking butt ugly.

Does it happen every time? Try pushing the switch a few times, not quite hard enough to actuate it. Anything? I've had faulty ones cause something like that.

I've never had that exact issue, but mine did some weird shit when I was running it with inadequate power. Usually related to saving presets or during switching. So I'd chech that first. It uses a pretty heavy load. 200 mA I think.
