Changes! + The SONIC SHROOM!

As I build more modulation, I'm also revising the FuzzHugger lineup. I've been crazy busy, making it hard to keep offering certain builds, as others take up all my time. I'm just one guy. I want to make sure the lineup is current and excites me (and hopefully you!).

Here's what I'm ready to announce so far!

· The new Algal Bloom V2 was step one of this plan.
The Algal Bloom & Blend will be brought in line with V2 shortly.

· I will keep trying (and probably keep failing) to fulfill the Doom Bloom demand.

· The Suneater will come in its dirtiest form, 2 knobs, and be $99.

· Some discontinuations that have been a long time coming...it's been hard to let go. Ratchet, Arc Flash, Upper.

· And the AB-Synth has been discontinued...

But good for you, I like streamlining and "out with the old, in with the new" attitude.

Would it still be possible to get the AB-Synth as part of a custom pedal when I get around to it later this summer?

No more Upper? Glad I've got mine.

But still, what a line-up. The Suneater has to be the best fuzz you can possibly buy for $99 and everyone should own one.

Ah sorry guys! This was a two-parter message, and I didn't mean to leave it hanging! I had to sleep and forgot to paste and post the second part.

The AB-Synth is not entirely dead. Just in name. Hopefully, you'll feel proud to own one of the 550 AB-Synths.

After seven years, I still love the pedal, but I'm ready for a change.
Off in the periphery, the rename is also influenced by synth software called ABSYNTH, which I was unaware of when I named the pedal.
I don't have to rename it, but I've toyed with renaming it in the past (and was shut down by MLC!)...and it's risky to rename one of my flagships. But when I was restructuring the lineup and planning AB-Synth V3, I liked it the idea of renaming, and for the first time ever, I felt like I could risk it.

I'm working to get the site updated and the whole lineup...er...lined up.
:joy: :omg: :!!!:

The first thing it does is bring back all the sizzle from V1.
It keeps the Trip/Voice knob, but expands its range, letting you get into some more bite and crunch.
It drops the Clip knob and replaces it with the original Osc knob, which I've decided I prefer to have on board, for more control over oscillation and some filtery tones.

Oh! And I forgot to talk about the Frequency Fucker!
I think it's gonna happen.

I go back and forth on that one, but I'm taking it out of production at least for now.

It's such a secret weapon sort of pedal for nasty fuzz tones, but I can imagine it might not be the best seller.

Frequency fucker sounds... intriguing?
