Looking to form or join a noise rock band. southeast MI

Hi, I live in Southeast Michigan pretty close to Detroit and I'm fed the fuck up. I've tried jammin with friends and shit but no one's really into what I want to do. I'm sick of pop bullshit. I'm sick of flaky band members. I'm sick of forming bands, having a couple practices, and then never doing it again. And fuck craigslist too. No one responds and the people who do fucking forget you had plans to meet up. That's why I'm here. I'm having trouble finding people.
Alright enough ranting. I'm 21, I play guitar, I have gear, I drive a crappy pickup truck. Fender jazzmaster, Peavey Vulcan somethin somethin watts loud, 4x12. I'm a fan of bands such as Part Chimp, The Jesus Lizard, Shellac, Pissed Jeans, Polvo, METZ, Sonic Youth, and more.
What do I want? I guess somewhere between the minimalism of Shellac and the fuzziness of Part Chimp. That's where I'm aiming I guess. Angular and aggressive, but still fun.
