Demo sock breaux: please illuminate me on the necessary attributes of a demo sock. I've noticed some pretty audacious choices in sockwear in demoz lately, and I'm thinking of breaking into the demo field, but only if I can do so in a BIG way. So I'm lining up my options, considering my strategies. In short, I need your help!

Realistically, you need a gimmick. Noticeable foot deformity, crazy patterns, stratergically placed holes, interesting foot tattoo, bad hygiene, etc... I'd suggest a nice sampling of white tube socks along with a flavor of the week similar to the pedal being demoed.

You need extra protection when stepping on the fuzzas!

So unless you want to go pro and get industry grade steel toe socks I would recommend rigging some extra protection in there by the use of coins or small books. I heard soap also works. On the standing foot you will want extra grip, so dipping it in marshmallows is usually the way to go, or use heated gummy bears, I've tried that to pretty amazing results.

Does a totally fucked squashed big toe and mangled toe nail count as a gimmick? If so I have one. Dropped a huge Oregon beam on it 25 years ago and it hasn't improved much in all that time. Probably should of been amputated

If we can design a sock that capitalizes on your entirely painful and heretofore seemingly unfortunate deviation from the digital norm to enhance foot-controlling functionality beyond the previously known bounds we may have something. Something Powerful and New.

that beard sock is a winner. Personally I don't need such an accessory. But a good option for the beardless folk out there.
