Celebrate new amp day by posting your latest acquisition.

Stopped by the local shop and picked this up today.

Traynor YBA-1 "mod 1" reissue.

40 watts. Old school Marshall-ish tone. The mod is that the input (high or low) is always jumped to both channels OR if you pull out the second volume it becomes a master volume.

Fun amp. Compact. Made in Canada (probably out of Chinese parts). ;)

That's a beauty. Hope you live on 10 acres with that beast.

(200W Super Lead... perfect for hockey areas or small stadiums lol)

technically this is no longer the newest... this came in wed. I've since gotten in another Sovtek Mig100 H and just bought another Ampeg SS140c

the nameplate was homemade by the original owner. He also included an actual name plate. I figured I'd leave that one on till I decide otherwise.

This one happened to be local for 150. But I did eye those 2 on ebay and did throw a bid on one but when it got closer to 200 I decided it wasn't worth it to me since I'm well stacked with em. I just can't help it. Just can't let a good deal pass by.

Got both of these back in January but I didn't get the MIG-50 up and running until last week, and now I need to sell it. As for the GK it was missing rack ears and knob caps for the volume, boost and master knobs. Got those last week as well. Now I've got it racked up nice and safe and I can tell what my volume and gain settings are now. :!!!:

Even though I'm not a fan of chickenhead knobs that Laney looks nice. I saw a white AOR years ago on Craigslist once but missed out on it and now I've been looking for another white one ever since. I think I just have an unexplainable need for a white amp.

Those Sovtek Mig50s are nice but to be honest I was staring at the Science more than the Sovtek. Those things look awesome.

Science is the reason why the Sovtek is up for sale. I have a Mother on the way! That, and there's not a thing the MIG-50 can do that my Hellhawk can't do better anyways.

Nice but hell I don't blame you for selling it to fund bigger and better. plus 50watts make sadness to me anyway.

and yea fallen I kinda agree with the chickenhead knobs to a degree but for some reason here I don't mind. he also included the original knobs in a bag if I want to switch them out. and there's always something classy about white esp if you get one on a main gigging head so it'll show all the wear of the road as you use it.
