Admittedly, I've been listening to and discovering more and more bands from Belgium all day due to this article: http://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/m ... eve-albini

Heh, I figured there would be a connection to that article. There is a lot of cool stuff over here beyond what is mentioned in the article though!

Post some more! I'm intrigued and pleasantly surprised by the sound of Raketkanon, and a few other from that article popped out as well.

Sure! These were some of my favorites, Kabul Golf Club (alas they are no more since their singer died in a traffic accident, he was only as old as me):

He also played the bass in another great band that doesn't exist anymore, The Rott Childs:

This is their first album, one of my favorite albums of all time:

The Guru Guru, funky and melodious destructive stuff:

Kapitan Korsakov, the other band of Raketkanon's singer:

Maze, more of a post-punkish vibe maybe:

Future Old People Are Wizards (with members of Drums Are For Parades, who are mentioned in the article and definitely worth checking out):

I can probably (definitely actually) come up with some more stuff if you want (I can also point you to the best stuff of the bands listed in the article if you're interested).

Also, shameless plug of my own band that probably fits the bill (sludgy noise-rock whatever):
