Y'all know this...

What do you think if there were no socket markings on that top end panel? There'd be a little diagram on the baseplate, but no white panel extension down the back.
It's pretty obvious what's going on there, yes? DC in socket looks familiar, pedals usually go right-to-left for input and output, and there's a minijack'd Igor... which fits in the 3.5mm socket....
Once you know how it goes you're all set, right?

Thinking about the practicalities of labeling.
Would have a tasty dome badge logo...

That's how Scott does it on the Montreal Assembly Count to Five - maybe hit him up and see what sort of feedback he's received about it. I'm all for less labeling and a more clean look.

The layout seems obvious to me. The offset in and out might be confusing to morons.

You should be fine with a diagram on the baseplate.

Once people are familiar, they should know where to plug stuff in. It's only that first time.

That was what I was gonna say, the CT5 is the same layout with no diagram and I can use it out no problem, I would have no problems with what you're proposing and I don't see how anyone else would either. You only need to figure it out once and then remember!
