I've certainly heard more masculine sounding women. I think you'll be where you need to be before long. As a person who's gotten his ass ROYALLY kicked by band management/actual successful musicians about his voice, i must say there is a light at the end of the tunnel. But you're way farther along than I was when I started to hone my voice. I actually sounded more like a chick. I ended up pretty raspy and profane.
Technically speaking, try and keep your chin down so your eyes stay level with the horizon, keep your stomach tight and when you breathe, expand from the sides. This is the Italian breath support method known as Appogio, and it's helped me tremendously. Breaths aren't as labored, phonation requires less effort, and you can hold notes for much longer.
Oh, and don't be so goddamned NERVOUS!! We're your friends, we have a lot of respect for you. Any of the OTHER fuckwads of the internet are just that, so screw em. What do they know, and there's always this guy to make us feel like fuckin Luciano:

I totally know where you're coming from, wanting your voice to sound like something different than it is. But if I've learned anything as I've stepped up to the mic more at shows and pursued a greater vocal presence in my band, it's that you really have to let your own voice develop as it is. I really quite like your voice in this video (a lot) and think that you have a good deal of control over it already. I dunno, maybe you know all this or you've heard it all before, but I'm really self conscious about my voice too and it's only been in the past few months that I've been able to come to terms with my voice, what makes it Garrett's voice...the good and the bad. I've tried making my voice sound like something it wasn't before and it ultimately didn't work out for me. maybe it'll be different for you though?

you know there are folks who think Billy Corgan sounds like a whiney angsty brat. Or that he sings too nasal-y.
I like your voice. I think that if you sing more you'll eventually develop it into it's full capacity.
so keep it up! You go Grrl!

Good job Devi, you look cute with your head in your hands.
I wish my voice sounded like Mark Paffi's

You sound kinda like a punky female bass player from an alt rock band.
Curling up the back of your throat can help give a feminine tone too as you're using less of the lower end of your chest to produce your sound. It's really east to do a cutesy anime girl voice that way :P Like a bass cut.
At one point I could sing feminine better than talking feminine because more modulation of the voice is acceptable then. Don't try to sing like a "normal" female maybe.
Also try singing along to Portishead records. Trust me on this.

Good call.
This is kind of HARD MODE though, I find it tough to do but you might fare better. I learned to sing to Tori Amos and Switchblade Symphony records so I do have a slightly feminine tone to my voice anyway, it's just I have trouble hitting highs and hitting lows while still sounding feminine(this is the hardest bit, it's much easier just to change the pitch, most women actually have a different set of tonal characteristics, a lot of Irish women have deep voices, but don't sound masculine).
