So I'm swimming in miss drilled cases. Like 50 of them probably. LOL. What do you guys do with yours??? Does anyone else have a fuck ton???
I'm starting to get old Boss cases too that are gathering dust.
I literally don't know what to do with these.
Any thoughts?

Options:
1) Use multiple to make a giant etched mosaic of your avatar and hang it on your wall.
2) Discounted weird looking pedal builds
3) Send them to me!

Dude, boss cases are rad.
Etch the shit out of them, fill them with 4 knob fuzzes, shove a 3pdt in the footswitch and make massive profit. Bump the price up for environmentally friendly reuseage factor.

Get Roy into it to make a pcb with board mounted 9mm pots that you can just drop in.

Bondo + a spatula to fill the holes then finish over? I also have a few duct tape finished pedals due to miss drilled holes.

TH Customs makes the cool "Nope" mini true-bypass relay. Stick one of those in and use the original boss switch to trigger the bypass.
To the Op. How badly miss drilled are the cases? If say the holes for the pots are off, maybe drill them a little bigger and use washers to be able to center them.
Or just go with some and make some weird looking shit. 3 LEDs, weird placed pots. Use a Dali painting as the graphic. Dripping Clock.

Even better!
That would be sick with something that looked for all intents and purposes like a standard boss pedal but wasn't.

For reference here's what I have (that I can find). HAH. Not all are miss drilled. Some are just bad art or whatever. Too many.
Most are totally salvageable, but I don't know what to do. LOL.
Just realized I don't even know where some of the Boss cases are. hahahah

Please wire the trump one as a straight wire, throw some gold colored knobs on it, and put it up for sale for a ridiculously high cost.
If you don't want to use them, You could definitely sell a bunch of those for cheap for DIY projects. that don't need to look pretty.

Moses clone?
Also, this isn't a thread about a beauty contest?
I was looking forward to the
Miss Drilled Cases 2015 swimsuit portion of the event.

I'm in the same boat but most of them are other pedal brand enclosures. I was planning now on eBay'ing them for cheaps but I don't want to spend time removing branding (someone could pass it off as legit I guess)

I would hate to take them to a salvage yard. Maybe offer them to ILF for cost of shipping in a large flat rate or something

God I don't want to even think about if I kept the old rehouse cases. LOL. I figured you might have a similar issue. haha.
Most of these were rehouse projects that I ended up doing another enclosure for. There's 5 branded ones. I have another OC2 sitting in my garage and found a 1590b sitting on my counter. LOL.
I could technically use some of these, but I'd prefer not to. I definitely wouldn't want to sell them to folks.

The shipping payment idea sounds like a good one.
Someone could use these as prototype boxes, or even sand them down and use them as whatever. I mean, not all are miss drilled, just some. Obviously a few are worse than others. There's those few that I'm like

what the fuck did I smoke when I drilled this!
Now I can't guarantee I have the backs to all of them, but I probably have most. The screws however. haha. That's just not going to happen. I have a whole bin full of those. That's another problem! LOL
If anyone wants some, let me know. I'd be glad to free up the space.
