Title speaks for itself...

Could anyone help me figure out how to add an output jack to my Supro 1606 so I can run it through a 4x12? The circuit sounds amazeballs but the 6x9" (yes, 6x9") speaker is unique, but boxy.

As I understand it can be done so you plug the cab in and the original speaker shuts off, or you plug the cab in and the original speaker stays on. But one is simpler? I've built an amp before, so have soldering skills, just not circuit knowledge skills.

To make one that disables the internal speaker All you need is a mono normally closed switching jack and wire it in after the output transformer/before the speaker such that the when you insert the speaker cable into the jack it breaks the contact to the internal speakers and bypasses it to your cable. If you want to use both speakers you need to take the parallel or series impedance into consideration or you'll have an uh oh but it's same concept different wiring.

You Could also just wire the output transformer output directly to a speaker jack on the back panel and then add a 1/4" plug to the internal speaker wires and just plug it into the new jack and then swap when you want to use a cabinet. But via this method if you forget to plug a speaker in, poppp
