a what was i thinking momment...picked up essentially the kit version of the hannah montana/disney princess/highschool musical washburn 3/4 guitar.
its sooo bad...in every aspect...

at least the neck pocket/join is nice and tight
not sure if the photos translate it very well...but everything feels irough as f**k!

outline for the battery cover/cavity and HM2 PCB. "Strategically" located taking into account the front control plate location. Going for the least amount of work necessary for pushing wires through. routing template? got no time for dat!

oh hi premier guitar!

keeps getting better. pickguard neck pocket won't fit when neck is attached. requires filing.
Do we even need a neck pickup?
<$10 worth of cement putty right here...thats $10 way over budget for this>

zero sanding or prepwork. smearded some extra putty over the neck pickup and wire chanel rout cavity. scraped it semi flush. it will be for a special "effect" later on...

Curious as to what the plasti-dip spraying would be like on a guitar? (aka rubber in a can)
me too...

very interesting to use this plasti-dip stuff. i feel it requires a slightly different technique to the rattle can job. thicker coatings and it sorta just molds itself together.
emptied a whole can on the body and headstock (got 2 coats)
came out ok, a few drips but not that fussed...especially for zero prep work (no sanding or cleaning)

POS bridge, replaced with another POS Bridge.

had to do some extra drilling for the strings and routing to accomodate the humbucker mounting ears

pcb was actually about 1-2mm too big on one section. dodgy free hand routes. was too lazy to take the router out, so carefully angle grinded a 1-2mm off one side of PCB. yup...at the stage of not caring anymore.

Gibson Iommi Humbucker, wired straight into HM2, straight to output jack. 3/4 kids guitar, with a .54 low string which just gets me to C#
