Neck Pickup in bridge possition????

I ordered a these 2 MRG pickups (one a Filter Tron style humbucker and the other a single coil in a humbucker housing) but I think the dude fucked and reversed my order instead of bridge>single coil and neck>humbucker he gave me the reverse (I think). I don't know for sure but I'm assuming the taller one if for bridge and the shorter is for neck. I'm not a very patient guy so I was wondering if I could just put neck in bridge and bridge in neck. Would make that much difference if I just adjusted the pickup heights?

Meh... as long as the pickup height is correct, and all the strings are picked up well, it'll be the same thing.. unless the neck and bridge versions of the pickups are wound differently.

That's not a bad combination actually, since the neck gives you nice warm cleans and more clear "rhythm" tones, and you get a nice bitey lead tone from the bridfge.

Meh. :idk:

I would use the opposite setup (neck>single, bridge>humbucker) if I had to, I would rather just have a guitar with just a neck pup.

the pickups are usually voiced different and have different outputs to compensate for their positioning, try it out see if you like it
if not tell the guy to fix it yo :idk:
