My Sheraton II got here today and it is badass!
it's a 92 and it looks unplayed
as you can see the crappy original pickups and whatnot where still there plus it had those wonky planet waves tuners…
luckily I thought ahead and had SD Black Winters and a set of grovers ready to go
although… FUCK I HATE REWIRING HOLLOW BODIES! [took a hour to get all that shit back in]
now it slays
it's a clear and grindy and heavy and shit

also it's now tuned to B standard

Sounds great! I like how it seems like you can really hear the strings resonating... Not sure how else to describe it. The nice metallic attack then rich ringing tone. Noice.

It is not easy, basically the way I learned was from a Dan Erwin video tape… you pull the knobs off, tie string to the pot shafts, output jack and switch, careful pull the electronics out, do what you need to do and then careful feed the electronics back in while pulling on the string tied to the pots jacks and switches to get them back in their holes
and here is a shot with my Rivoli
