alrighty so i loved my old ad9, and my ad99 is chill but its huge. is there any current delays that do the analog delay slap type thing well?
i know theres a buncha dope delays out but i'm just looking for that slap bc i'm mad basic
plz help ty

strange as it sounds, danelectro fab echo. Had it for a while one summer and it worked perfect for the weird downtuned surf sounds I was focusing on.

My favorite
1st repeat delay is an old school DMM. 4 or 5 knob.
The Aqua Puss' slapback is special, too...and I'm all about dat variety

I have one of these. it's a crazy good echo, especially for the price. It competes well against my EQD ghost echo and Malekko Spring Chicken. Daresay, it is my favorite.

Yepp, does that smeared sound real well. Especially on the longer end of slapback where the repeats make weird dissonant things happen. y'all hatin' on slapback mustn't a tried this
Malekko 616 was sweet for slapback when I had it. That stupid buffer though...
