Ive been out of the pedal game

Over the past year or so I havent been looking into pedals much, as I went through a synth craze phase. Ready to get back into the game. So, im just wondering, what have been some of the most exciting developments, new pedals, companies, etc to come into being in the past year or two?

Chase Bliss Audio
Montreal Assembly Count to Five
Industrialectric Reverb Machine
Probably more but these are the first to come to mind.

Welcome back Admiral.
Neonblack's list is 100% correct. To that you can add the Dr Scientist BitQuest , and the Heisenberg Overdrive. BitQuest because it is a box of far too many rad effects, Heisenberg because it contains groundbreaking new nanotechnology developed by intelligent people at the University of Alberta. Its first commercial application is oddly enough an overdrive. It'll drop in the summer. BitQuest is already here.
Copilot Adam has gone nuts on the custom front and is doing shit that I can't begin to grasp, but maybe a synth dude could do it. Lots of cv control and step sequencing and stuff. Check his custom thread.
Tom Dalton is about to explode the world of modulation effects, and in conjunction with jrmy has created the oscillating fuzz to end all oscillating fuzzes, the Thujone Extract.
Infanem did a run of improbability drives but they're gone again.
Lotsa new builders in the shark tank.
A few old faces have dropped off the radar, a few have shown up again.

Digitally-controlled analog circuits. The age of the microchip for guitar pedals.

serious or no? if you're serious is that because the big boys are finally listening to what the consumer wants? Ive notice digitech stepping up their game, line 6's m series seem to be finding their ways onto a lot of boards...what do you think?

As a synth person, you might know koma elektronik? If not, their delay seems rad. Also, old blood noise endeavors has received some hype recently, their black fountain delay sounds like sex with chicken nuggets in a good way
