anyone here use or have used THD Yellow Jackets to put EL84s in an EL34 amp? I'm aware it won't "magically transform" anything but I thought it might be neat to try in my Laney AOR50 since I am gonna order new power tubes soon anyway.

I've used one in my Emerysound Superbaby. Not my favorite tube though, I prefer a bit more big on the bottom. I've played a Satellite Atom that had them in and it sounded fantastic....
soooo...could go either way.

Had them in a blues deluxe: changed its basic Sound to Rock with less fender'y bass and bell like treble, just cutting mids.

They are ok but hard to tell if they will change your amp into your desired Direction. You need to try it by yourself.
