I am an idiot, returned the stang bass, keeping my fiesta red stang, bought TVL Jazzy.

That's the thing, I think, the 'Stang is almost always a gateway drug. Very few players stick with the 'Stang for the long haul.

what you need is a stang with a jazzy tremolo
the real stangmaster

Routing your red stang for a jazzy vibrato would be sweet. Unless you want the longer scale length/different electronics.

you aren't married to mustangs. Not even betrothed.
It isn't commitment, you aren't cheating.
Now build your harem.

Not mine. But I've seen several online. Considering doing it to my musicmaster..

i think the body thickness is juust enough to fit the jazzy trem but the routing would have to be really finely done.
i got offered this in a trade recently by ILFer justin which is a pretty damn cool mix of stang and jazz, he might still have it

Yeah, routing it out just doesn't seem worth the trouble, and I feel like it wouldn't match the color? Is that weird? Like when I think of a stang with a jazz trem, I think of metallic colors... fiesta red just doesn't fit for me. Its more of a punk rock sort of color....

I will always love my Mustang, it will probably remain my main geet. Dat blue lace sensor in the bridge is the tone (THE TOANNNN) I have been seeking out for a long time. But yeah, I loved the Squier Jazzy I had but the neck was so uncomfortable. The 7.25 radius is where its at for me, and oxblood red is sexiest color I have seen.
Thanks guys, you have made this transition much easier.

I'd most definitely keep the turquoise, sell the red, and add the TVL Jazzy.

I'd not resist and just buy the TVL
let us know how you like it after you get it and spend some time with it!

Do you have any trouble adjusting to the longer scale? I've played Mustangs and Jaguars almost exclusively and I'm kind of scared to even try anything else.

I mostly play my jaguar, but it only takes a few minutes for me to get used to playing on my tele copy. I'd recommend giving it a go if there's something that you think that you'd like.

When I had my VM Jazzmaster I had more trouble adjusting to the 9.5 fretboard radius than the scale. When I go to my Tele or when I played the TVL Jazzy, just a matter of "oh I just need to cover a bit more distance here and there."
