...I bet they get better at it as time goes on.
This is my first experience with this band and I LOVE the song. Cool subject matter and overall vibe. I like the red haired dude's reaction to Letterman being afraid of them.

That is too funny. Reminds of the time Conan had Slipknot on. When he walked out at the end, he had the funniest look/fake smile on his face. "I better look happy or they'll kill me and devour my flesh on camera."

Mastodon, standing toe to toe with High On Fire, are the best metal band in the world right now. These two bands are in a league of their own. If you like Crack The Skye get Leviathan and Blood Mountain. THIS IS AN ORDER!

I'm not a big fan of the progness in this case, but it blows my mind to see people play stuff that intricate and sing over it. And drummers singing lead? Please - I can barely tie my shoelaces and hum at the same time.
That said, I really liked a lot of Leviathan, so maybe this will grow on me...

ps. If you like Mastodon you'd probably dig the band "Intronaut".

The chorus in Oblivion is really cool. Unreal lyrics, harmony, melody.... and it comes from out of nowhere in the song too without feeling out of place. Badass.
I have the whole album. I can't say I'm that into it

Red Haired dude just gets really sad when Letterman says he's scared and for the rest of the vid he looks like he's lost all his confidence.
