Bogner Ecstacy Red, how does it chug?

How does the Ecstasy Red sound for palm mutes and fast, heavy riffing? Also does it retain clarity with chords at high gain? Looking for a smooth and cutting high gain sound with balls. Hoping this thing will fit the bill and be a nice contrast to the heavy darker sludge of my Quantum Mystic.
