Boss HM2 power problem

Hey all. My Taiwan HM2 is a little temperamental with a mains power supply. The led is dim/sometimes off and it sounds like it is not operating at full output. A 9v battery works fine and I have checked continuity from power supply input to the PCB and that seems OK. Any thoughts? I have tried a one-spot and a Dunlop power brick. Ta!

You need 12v, or you need to daisy chain it at 9v.

Cheers Goroth. The daisy chaining worked! Prob a daft question, but why would that make a difference? Cheers!

Just did a bit of googling and found out about the PSA vs ACA adaptors for old boss pedals. Interesting!

There's a pretty basic mod you can web search for that'll do a fix for compatibility with all 9v power supplies. Never had an issue with my MIT on the One Spot daisy chain, so I've let it be.
