what the fuck. why didnt somebody tell me that this thing basically invented post-rock earlier?! i would have bought two already

That thing is a post-rock in a box and can be heard in GY!BE, EITS, Mono, Isis and pretty sure in a lot of obscure bands out there.

Get a Midiverb 2 and Quadraverb and SPX-90 and you're in 80s/early 90s shoegaze instantly as well.

I remember hearing the RV-3 for the first time on Pelican's Australasia album. It was easy identifying it on their older stuff from Tusk. Those things have been relevant a looooooong time.

mode 10 is actually my favorite. mode 11 is a little metallic. I'll know for sure when we practice next.
