It comes pretty close to nailing the lo-fi loop junky tones. I love using it with other modulation as well to degrade the sound quality. I say get one if you're after some sonic degradation along with your modulation. Oh yeah, it adds some serious sustain too.

I too have been wondering about this one for a long time. The vibrato sound seems so nice.

It's chorus and vibrato sounds are very smooth and stay away from sounding cheesy, but I think it really shines adding that static patina in lo-fi mode is what separates it. Full on compressor mode is really nice and sustain laden.

As I have been using my Meet Maude mainly with delay down with the lo fi warble this pedal is probably for me then? I need a single pedal to do something along those lines.

Yeah, I've got a meet Maude too and know what you're talking about. It's in that same ballpark for sure. I mean it's a really versatile pedal with clean punchy compressed to dark/bright staticy rolled off lo-fi tones with chorus in between and three distinct waveforms that can give a smooth response or choppy almost delay like slap back echo in certain settings. But I love it for that Lofi warble.

Played with the one ChetM used to own, I would say YES get one.
I loved the sound it had, very awesome pedal.

i'm not a fan of the compressor in it. no control. i really have to cater the input signal volume to keep it under control. also it will give a sort of clicking sound when hitting a new note before the compressor kicks in and squashes it down.
but the vibrato sounds awesome and goes quite slow.
i like to use my lofi junky on keyboards or significant looping endeavors and just use my JC120 vibrato for guitar.

UG, how does it compare to your Cosmichorus?

They are rather dissimilar, the cosmichorus being so tweakable and extreme in its ranges. I like to combine the two. The chorus is more pronounced with the cosmic, I'd say the Lofi is more subtle and has a different character overall, plus the surface noise that you can dial in really separates the two. There is something about the tone controls too that differs, the Lofi is softer sounding.

Seems like a must-have for any drone/ambient noise board. Still need to grab one.
LFLJ is the shit....ZVEX makes fun toys.

The Vexter ones are gray/silver so it would look at home on your board
