Dumb question of the day. Wiring two LED's in series

Hey guys! So I'm trying to add not one, but two LED's to a second stomp switch on a circuit. I've looked all over online and cannot find a answer to my question.

So I'm instead going to post a picture.

So the first LED (that works fine) is going from stomp to circuit board.

The two I'm trying to wire in series should go from the second stomp to the power supply? Or to the circuit board as well?

Here's a picture. I have them going stomp, 2.2k resistor, wired in series, circuit board.

Basically I'm asking if I should run the other lead to the power supply negative?
