pull, push, lock potentiometer

So from what I can tell this does exist but not in the fashion I would hope and it does not seem to function as one would hope.
I was wondering if any of you DIY bros have ever found a good pot that you can pull, turn, and push down to lock it into place. If not, how the hell do we get a manufacturer to create this? It would literally be the solution to accidental stage kicks and changing settings on your pedal. If they literally locked into place.
This is the model I have been able to find the most readily available but does not seem very practical as some of the reviews say it still moves when in the locked down position.
Now there are already push, pull pots. How much harder would it be to implement a locking mechanism into that?
Any thoughts?
