Carlsbad Reverb weak audio?

When blend control is adjusted for maximum reverb, there is a significant drop in volume. Is this normal operation for this effect pedal or do I have a defect? Anybody who has this pedal please provide some advice. Thanks.

I have the same problem with my Carlsbad Reverb. Ive tried everything to fix the problem but cant even find a reason why it does that. If anyone has an explanation I would love to hear it.

I'd love to help, but the build documents seem to be lacking the schematic.
