Ampeg vs. Ampeg value???

I've got a V4B and V2 that both get constant use

My VT40 4x10 combo, on the other hand, doesn't really ever get used...and I have a buddy who is dying to trade me his V2 head for it. I am looking for a new guitar and am probably going to sell the VT40 anyway, so I'm tempted to trade and then flip his V2, but I'm thinking the VT40 is worth more and unfortunately I need to make as much money out of the deal as possible.

The VT is an early top mount, non-master volume in excellent condition--1 replaced speaker and a bad standby switch are the only 'issues'. The V2 is a later master volume model with white rocker switches, without the distortion circuit, and is also pretty minty.

What would you do???

Definitely stick with the VT40. Play that and your V2 simultaneously and you can get more money out of your V4.
