Just want to hear something like a more aggressive early Mudhoney, maybe? I don't know what's around, but I dig Pissed Jeans. Toss out some band names and I'll check them out, be as varied or specific as you feel like.

Maybe check out blacklisted. Everything after heavier than heaven lonelier than god is in that vein; the most recent ep's especially.
Feel like Graham Clise bands probably have some of that going on? Although it's more garage punk mixed with classic rock but hey. Just listen to the guitar playing!

Come On Down is the Green River disc that had Steve Turner on it--feels a bit more Mudhoney than the other ones.
The Nuggets anthology is cool for going more proto on things. Love Battery is more late 60s and early 70s kitsch than 50s kitsch, a bit tighter, and a bit more psychedelic.
Definitely U-Men to the extent you can lay hands on any. Retrospect suggests a big influence on Mudhoney--they were kinda the old men of alt rock in Seattle before any inkling of Sub Pop or CZ came around, and damned if they didn't get there first on a lot of the vein Mudhoney mined.
Oh, and since I mention CZ, Skinyard is like 1/4 Mudhoney, 3/4 Joy Division.
