Saw a thread regarding the Trinity 2, but it is the Alter Ego V2, and the cool sounding Binson Echorec mode, that really has me enamored. I ordered one for $99(amazing deal) the other day after watching a few videos. Modulated delay is a sound I cant get enough of and even though some of the modes sound overly seasick with the pitch bending, enough of them sound amazing for me to not care. Chances are I will find a sound I love and stick with it anyway. This will be replacing my EHX Memory Boy that sounds great but has weird issues when daisy chaining it. Anyone have one? How does it sound with high gain? New video

Is the issue you speak of the clock noise passing through your chain when bypassed. I have the Deluxe Memory Boy and had that problem. I use a separate power supply just for the DMB just to get rid of the clock noise. If that is the issue I think you would be better off using a dedicated than replacing the Memory Boy. Much better delay than the Alter Ego.

Though having both on your board wouldn't be too bad

The Memory Boy pops and doesn't work well unless it is in my effects loop. I have tried a regular TC Flashback that sounds great running in front of the amp and doesn't have to be in the loop.

I had the x4. Great sounds. Worked fine with fuzz for me. I was mostly into the Echorec sounds. But I got rid of it, largely due to not having control over mod, but it also was just a bit too pristine for my liking. Back to the De7 for me.
