alembic preamp to start the pre/power conversion, or tube reverb unit to add yummy reverb to a pair of blueline SVTs?
my amp tech has a 64 fender reverb unit for 4 hundy that needs caps and tubes (he quoted 150 ish) and im a sucker for a touch of reverb on bass, and pedals just don't do it right for me
but an alembic preamp is THE preamp I want to start the conversion to a tube pre / SS power amp set up. (I will sell the classics keep the blues)
guitar wise im set as fuck, bass wise im set until the first of the year when im prolly gonna order a custom warmoth then be set as fuck. at home im running a cute 30 watt combo to keep the rescue pupz happy so im good there.

Go with the preamp first, as that's an integral part of your tone then when you've got that all wrapped up then look at expanding that tone with the reverb.

dude wirh the tube reverb unit took a slight lowball offer.
first world problems 2 vintage bluelines with a 64 fender tube reverb unit infront. woe is me.
