Bazz VI?

Sitting here in these woods deer hunting has me thinking I need a Bass VI to incorperate some more guitariness into my two piece bass and drum Om worship band, Galactic Hatchet, on certain songs.

I have an idea to convert my Aria Pro Flying V bass which is 30" into a bass VI by having EGC make me a new neck. Its just too short for lowntuned bass but id bet its perfectly long for low tuned guitar. But before i drop money on something custom I want to test the waters with a production piece. Squier VM seems to be the cheapest, any one have one?

Yep, we are more than a few over here to be satisfied with the VM VI. Consensus has it that Staytrem bridge and strings upgrade are necessary and other than that it's very much alright.

Seems to be difficult to get things from EGC today based in their current production models.

Everything I've heard and read about the Squier VI says its a slam dunk/home run/touchdown/goal.

Cool. Ill think ill sees if the store has one this week.

NO RAGRETS...not even a letter.

What do you mean about EGC? Id hope I can just buy a neck from them, Ron from Bongripper is doing that with his G3. Unless only the cool kids can do that, then itll be a real bummer. A chrome neck would look so dope on the metallic red finish of my flying V.

He means you'll probably have to wait quite some time before you get your neck...

check out my pic on the last page of let's see your guitars…there's at least two on here. There was one up in seattle last month on craigslist, set up more with Jag pickups that I wish I'd picked up. They do show up on reverb from time to time...

Are you using it in Whores? Tuned to C or E to E?

I really like the white one but I also like the idea of getting a black one and a black pickguard and dooming it out.

Yeah I use it on Last Looks. Everyone thinks it's bass playing the crusher riff, but it's really me.

It's tuned G-G(an octave higher)-C-F-A, I take the lowest string off.
