So my band uses an Alexis sr-16 for our drum sounds. We typically run it into the pa and a jazz chorus simultaneously but it comes off too clean sounding depending on the venue. I want to make a bit more rude and maybe a bit dirty. What are some cool pedals I can use to rough it up a bit? I'm thinking something with a clean blend...

I want to say the FrantaBit, but that's because I feel like Iron Ether exclusively makes pedals with a clean blend, and some light bit crushing sounds like exactly what you're looking for.

That would be a good idea as dirty/compressed drums sound great with a parallel clean

Also, just thinking of stuff in the b/s/t. I used to have a Malekko Diabolik and ran a drum machine through it once. Really awesome and subby and gritty. Plus clean blend. And the squish knob compresses it more and adds more FUN!

yea +1 on the clean blend. pretty much anything w/ a clean blend will give u something gnarly while also useful.
TAFM is really nice on drums.
red panda bitmap.
moog drive?
edit: also just wanna add that the clean blend isn't necessary if u wanna totally destroy!
reverb pedals are cool. reverb into dirt. yea

i've used a sr-16 for years and always heavily process the hell out of it. the oto biscuit is a stereo bit crusher/mono synth that is my usual go to.
The red panda particle does amazing things but its not stereo.
Anything by metasonix
The trogotronic 77 is really fun with it.
I have been getting really cool textures sounds with a seppuku memory loss lately.
There are also a few coffee and riffs videos involving drum machines and pedals that are pretty cool. Give their YouTube channel a gander, should be easy enough to find

I agree with the OTO Biscuit!
I have been using an INFANEM 2nd Voice Deluxe and it is so dope. It is like it adds a dirty synth baseline at the same time. I will post some examples later tonight.

I survived most of the 90s with an HR-16B, an HM-2 and a DD-3.
Would still rock that setup any day.

Compressors. Cheap rack stuff from the 90s that you find in pawnshops can be fantastic--Symmetrix, Rane, Ashly, Rocktron, dbx. Alesis 1/3 rack Nano Compressor. The built-in compressor in Fostex MN-series mixers sound wicked smashing drum machines, though that makes it seem frivolous to get a little mini mixer with aux send/return capability for clean blend if you need it.
