Noise Synths - looking for some options

So. I want a noise synth, but not a drone synth. I'm looking for less constant discernible oscillators and more crashing waves of static/glitches/ etc. 4ms Noise Swash and Trogotronic stuff come to mind, but I'm know there's other stuff out there. No modular gear for me, so a stand alone unit is highly preferred. Audio in is a plus but not a must. Cheaper is cool
What say ye, brethren?

How about the MASF Osc02 or 03? They sound pretty rad.

i just picked up a sirkut noise synth box that you would probably dig. it has audio in option too. here is a demo i made using a guitar. hope you like, i think this is what you have in mind. I also have the 4ms noise swash and its VERY fun but creates a loop which can be frustrating. i'm not sure how often sirkut show up used but around the same time frame I also picked up a sirkut ringmod so they are out there...
and yeah, the MASF osco2 v2 and osc03 are really fun.

Black Death / yersinia pestis / dark interpreter
http://1010.co.uk/org/blackdeath.html

http://www.1010.co.uk/org/darkint.html
First two are OOP but worth it if you can find them. The Dark Interpreter is the new sexiness and I can only imagine it's a succubus. It also looks like some OG Star Wars action :

Lately I've been pondering grabbing one of these kits:

decidedly a drone synth, which is not what Kbit is looking for -- he's already got a Drone Commander for that, and while they're not the same flavor they cover very similar territory.

Correct. Same goes for the WSG. The Deses is really sweet though. The MASF osc3 seems like it might do the trick.
I wasnt able to check out clips on the black death and its off shoots cuz my internet blows tonight, bit I shall tomorrow. Gonna be too rich for my blood but I can dream
Also I should say I basically want something staticy/harsh that I can chop up with a slicer for crazy high hat esque sounds. The LAL Sandstorm looked cool but not enough variation in the timbre for my.

I'm pretty sure the 4ms noise swash is available in kit form for less monies too. And it has cv inputs

Here I'm using the goatkeeper cv out to control the noise swash.

You could also just grab a white noise generator and sample it with the 404?

I no longer have the 404

awesome unit but I really thrive on stuff I can tweak on the fly, which is why im thinking noise synth -> slicer could be sweet.
A noise swash with cv ins could be pretty sweet though... thanks for the tip UG

I can't find the link for it, but try to find an app called Spiker. It's a soft synth for mac, some kinda MAX/MSP thing. Don't know if it's crossplatform at all or available as a plugin for those that go that way; but it's idiot simple, which is why it's the only soft synth I use....
It's essentially two random tone generators, and you can set the probability of the tone being a high or low note. You then have control over an "overdrive" circuit, bit, LFO, and sample rates, and something called ambient volume that's kinda sorta a WNG.
If you're just looking for something that's a) cheap (it's free) and b) for generating samples to fuck with elsewhere and c) not a straightup oscillator it's worth a look.
Spiker + Patatap + harp samples + thom yorke = FlyLo

your moog is prob the most badass noise synth. it has noise options right? u prob want a separate unit tho i'm guessing.
gunna +1 the noise swash cuz its horror movie soundtrack heaven.
audible disease seems to make some cool noise synth stuff...
http://www.audibledisease.com/product/dementia_dm-1
might be another offering or two on there as well.

Awwww yeah that dm1 the kind of shit im talking about. A bit expensive but thats definitely what im after sonically. I'll have to peep through their other stuff too.
-------------
& it may have been a bit wreckless of me, but I sold the Moog. Yep. It so totally ruled and was worth every penny but when I sat down to play it just didnt flow, programed patches then was like, well thats cool I guess. Not where my head space is at. Plus I've wasted a lot of time in the past debating on changing shit up rather than trying something that might work/feel better.
The Volcas really inspired me woth their immediacy and limitations and how I had to focus on how to use them as they were. & the live sequencer on the Keys is so totally my style. I got a good chunk of change from the Moog and im reinvesting it in a psudeo modular set up, which the noise box would be a part of. Also debating on picking up a Moog Minitaur cuz I loved the shit out of that low end.
TL:DR
