I have this super awesome Industrialelectric square wave pedal that I have been trying to sell/trade off because I really like how it sounds, but it's just too extreme and crazy for any of the stuff I do. However, I had the idea that it might be cool to have someone to add a clean signal blend mod; It would be cool to be able to blend the clean signal of my bass in with the nastyness of the pedal. If this is in fact realatively simple/cheap to do.

Is it? I know this pedal is a little obscure, but does the capacity to mod something depend a lot on the induvidual pedal? I imagine that for most mods it would, but just adding in a clean blend seems like a pretty simple concept to me (of course I have absolutely no idea how to do it lol).

Has a phase inverting option so should cover you as long as your pedal doesn't mind a buffer up front.

There are a bunch of pedals that do this, which run from 99 to 200 bucks. The Morley FX Blender is cool cuz the blend mix is controlled by your ankle wangage.

Yeah I know there are lots of pedals that are bassically effects loops, like the xotic one, that can let you blend clean signal in, but it seems like kind of a pain in the ass to me...

The Boss LS-2 will do that.

Yeah they take up pedal board real estate and they don't actually make "sounds."

I think the mod you want is doable, you just have to approach a builder/modder with some experience. I asked about it on another forum some years ago and got a similar response, including that splitter-blend schematic, but nobody straight-up offered to do it.

Yeah dude I reckon it wouldn't be too hard. I'd just ask industrial electric to do it for you, seems like a cool dude who would be happy to help
