Someone asked me for a demo of the Uglyface I got recently from ianmarks, so here it is! I might have forgotten to actually preview the ramp up/down, but I'm not UG and therefore suck at demos.



Two points to whoever can identify where the little solo section I did twice is from.

I went for a simple graphic, originally to keep with the Dial-Up theme. When it came to the top controls I had trouble finding analogous dial-up terms for them, so I didn't go all the way with the theme.

Once I learn how to make my own pedals I want to make a crazy tap tempo version of this with a rotary switch for LFO shape. Square Wave and Random being hot on the list of wants, but I have to learn first.

Oh yeah, that'd be incredibly crazy!

I think I was the one asking for a demo. And you delivered great, dude! Thanks. Love the sound of this. I dunno, but a lot of Ugly Face-demos I've seen/heard seem to be some sort of ultimate fuzztone for me. That's it, I'll have to get one built.

Yeah, the Ugly face is really really cool, the only other things I remember come close to that type of sound are the Subdecay Noise Box and a PLLONE...

That's the reason why ianmarks made it for me, so I could get ever so closer to owning the PLLone I've beeb GASsing for so hard.

The uglyface is a pretty fun pedal. Here is one I built many years ago. I actually like the envelope better than the lfo.
