Hi Woolworm,

This thread has brought a lot of new people to ILF. Please try to be kind, im not particularly into this sort of bullshit in my threads.

thanks

Hi guys, newbie here. I am looking for expression pedal for my CT5. Is Roland EV-5 compatible with it?

I use the Boss EV-30 with the CT5. So I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I can't answer that with confidence.
But I'm fairly certain that wasn't the strangest thing I did that day.

Same...Scott's work was my gateway to this site and now I'm an active member for a few years, even doing secret santa this year. Much love to ILF

I've had some time to spend with my C2F, and I'm absolutely loving it. I probably spend the most time on mode 3, building loops over loops until they turn to mostly static. It's so intuitive, but complex, and I've had a lot of nice accidents just twisting knobs. Mode 1 has been awesome. The hold function makes a great way to play your own having chords and switch organically between them. Haven't been able to spend much time in Mode 2 yet.

I use the M-Audio EX-P. Inexpensive and works perfectly. The nice thing about the EV5 is you can set the minimum volume.

Hi.
Would it be fair to say the audio quality of the wet sound is the same in 2022 as when you described above or have there been changes since? I'd be curious of the audio spec in general.
Thanks a million. Best pedal ever…

Hi Hce,

Yes the pedal has been basically the same since 2016. There are different board revisions but that is mostly to accommodate whatever parts were available when we were making them. Rev k, l and m boards are all more or less the same thing. rev h, i, ,j the sound quality is a bit less but these are very old and not many were made this way.

thanks!

Hi everyone -

Just purchased a CT5 from Reverb, not arrived yet. Looking at the forum I've discovered that not only are there different firmwares but different boards as well. Anything I need to be aware of for a blue 2022 edition?

Cheers,

Bill
