New toys and what to do with them.

So, I think my mailman will think I'm a drug dealer or something because I'm going to be getting four small packages in rapid succession this following week. To clarify; I'll be getting a Death by Audio Flaming Lips Ring Mod, Electra 503G Graphic EQ, EHX Holy Grail Big Box, and an MXR Dyna Comp. So, in light of that, I was wondering if anyone knew of some "must have" mods I could do to the Holy Grail and Dyna Comp to make them better than they already are.

Yeah, I can see that. Maybe I should deal drugs so I can afford to buy all these pedals and eat.

If I'm not mistaken, you can mod the Dyna Comp to be a Jangle Box. I'm not sure what that means, but I love me some jangle!
A friend of mine had his Holy Grail modded to have 2 footswitches, 2 knobs, and 2 settings. They both have to be the same type of verb (Hall, Spring), but it's still pretty cool I think!

Well, I got three of them. DBA Space Ring, EHX Holy Grail, and MXR Dyna Comp. Although, I can only use one at a time for the moment, and I don't have a power supply for the Dyna Comp. But it's still super cool. I'm probably gonna do the dual setting mod for the Holy Grail because...I can; but I don't know if I'll do anything to Dyna Comp. Hopefully my Electra EQ shows up soon.

I remember seeing a thread somewhere about a guy who built a fuzz into his Big Box holy grail so that it was on the trails only. I think it was trails only. Not entirely sure though. But I'd definitely give a google.

I know what guy you're talking about. He had a pretty cool tumblr I used to read when I had a computer job. Before I discovered ILF of course!
