I haven't, but I'm certain it'll be loud as fuck and take pedals incredibly well/ lots of clean headroom. Built like a tank and heavy as hell. it LOOKS like a YBA-3 with a tremolo and reverb section. I love me some YBA-3 which has the same power section (4x EL34's) so I'm assuming it'll at least be similar in that regard.
(You've gotta know Chillerthanmost right??)

I play a traynor yrm-1 which is the 50 watt version of that head. Basically a blackface circuit with bass bleeders in the tonestack. Takes pedals like a champ, and stays clean until the master gain is about dimed, then the breakup is kinda like a fuzzy overdrive, pretty sure that has a master volume also.
They are real easy to work on, and the pop top makes it more accessible.
Reverb is pretty wet compared to a fender, but I also have an upgraded reverb tank
People knock the tremolo but mainly because they seem to be unreliable in the yrm -1 and ygl-3, they are ldr based, and people bitch about the ldr not functioning, but its usually the oscillating caps, as that was the case with my trem.
Awesome amps, ill never part with mine. Only thing else I would recommend is to stay away from ehx 6ca7's as they fail fast in traynors, I run ruby el34bht's.

Yes I do, his yba sounds beastly live, so I hope it sounds anything near that.
Well I'm stoked.

With the preamp volume dimed, how distorted is it going to get?

The yba's are easier to get to break up, depending on if its a 1, or 1a. I've also played a mark 3 and its pretty damn close to my yrm, they tend to be a little darker than yba's also. I mainly went with my yrm over yba due to my master volume requirement.

Theres not alot of gain, these amps are different kinda beasts, your "volume" knob is gonna control your how much break up you get, and your "master gain" knob is your master volume, as far as how much distortion, it gets into ac/dc territory, which sucks as im not the biggest fan, but every time I play with no pedals and the brige pickup engaged on my sg I cant help bet to bust out an angus lick, luckily I fix that all up with a rat and hm-2, those two sound massive through my yrm

Not sure if your into cult of luna at all, but johannes runs a ygl-3, and kurt from converge has used the yrm-1 extensively, so if you want to get an idea what these sound like with a bunch of pedals fed into them, listen to some old converge, or anything from cult of luna.

Kurt's tone is the business. Fuck yeah.
Its kinda wierd, but I always feel like when guys are stoked to do a trade with me on CL, I'm getting screwed over. Good to know it probably isn't the case. I still have to wait till Sunday and drive 2 hours to get the thing..
I wonder if it has an 8 ohm tap from the transformer... I have 2 16 ohm 4x12s waiting to get stacked.

Schematic says 4 ohm, but limited to 12, shows recommended traynor cabs as being 4ohm and 8ohm cabs.

Can't go wrong with an old traynor.

I've had 3 over the years.....YBA1, YGL3, and YGM, I think?
All were great.
The YBA was like a JTM. The YGL is suppose to be like Fender Twin meets Marshall......but I'm not sure how I'd categorize it? It just sounded good and was as loud as I wanted it to be.
The YGM 4x8 combo was real sweet, and you really realize what you're missing in your high wattage amps.....when you can't crank them or push your high wattage speakers hard.
Never had any issues with them. I think they all had original tubes and caps, and were still running well.
Seems like the average price on the YGLs skyrocketed as soon as TGP started hyping the YBA1s more, and eBay sellers started asking $200-$400 more for their vintage traynors.
I had mine about 6-8 years ago......when they were still pretty cheap. Couldn't really sell them for more. sold'em all.
Then all of a sudden they're worth a lot more......much like the vintage Ovation Electric guitars, Ampeg V4s............well, really any cool under the radar piece of gear 10 years ago.
