Is there any tremolo pedal that can do random stuff (like not cutting at the same time frame all the time) with triangle and square waveshape?
Anybody tried the ZVex Seek Trem? I'm don't think it have all the features I'm looking for.

I had the Sonar for a while and it was pretty cool. You couldn't get it to do random, but you could control every aspect of the way that it chopped.
I know that the SolidGold FX trem can do random, I'm pretty sure.
There's also the DIY Tap Tempo trem kit that can do random along with like 10 other waves

Z Vex Tremorama?

Lightfoot Labs Goatkeeper?

Catalinbread Semaphore?

Throne Room Pedals Tremolo?

Dawner Prince Starla?

Flux Liquid Tremolo?

Maybe probably other ones too?

Thanks Chank!!
I'm trying to emulate that kind of random step effect on Le Noise by Neil Young.

You're welcome. Lanois did a lot of production stuff on that.

Are you sure it's an effect Neil Young used in real time or is it something that was added later?

I've used the Semaphore and its random function does square/depth - it doesn't do triangle and doesn't randomize time. I'm pretty sure the Starla uses the same tap trem chip, but I haven't tried it.

Yeah! What I'm looking for is more like randomize time, square where you can adjust the depth.
I'll listen to some demo tonight.
Thanks guys!!!

The random function of the SubDecay Proteus is near that sound, but it's a filter.
Same with a squarewave trem would be awesome.

I'm not home... but I think it's the first song and Angry World (I might be wrong).

I didn't realize the Tremulust did random, but I guess it's sorta random by its very nature.

Yeah, I don't know quite what to suggest for this:
